About Our El Salvador
Our El Salvador is a single origin coffee that comes from the Finca El Manzano farm, established in 1872 by Cornelio Lemus. This strictly high-grown plantation is located ten miles southwest of the city of Santa Ana in Las Cruces County in western El Salvador. These volcanic slopes have been supplied with ash and rich nutrients from the volcano of Santa Ana for millennia that brings the sweet nutty and orange flavors of this roast. Today, Finca El Manzano has grown to be a successful fifth-generation farm. It is owned and operated by Emilio Lopez Diaz, a hard-working coffee producer and entrepreneur. The farm and mill, under Emilio’s supervision, has produced world-class coffees used in the World Barista Competition and has pushed the producing the limits of experimental micro-lots and well-crafted coffees. Using the highest quality varieties of coffee trees and cutting-edge harvesting and processing the quality of this coffee is undeniable.
